When you get the call to film inside a Royal Palace made for one of Malaysia’s 9 Sultans you probably would pinch yourself.
We’re sure that’s exactly what Benjamin Von Wong did when Bill Bensley the architect behind this majestic palace got in contact with him to ask if he would be interested in creating a short film that would showcase his 15 years of work.
“Boasting over a 100 rooms, 14 ton bronze doors and halls over three stories high, capturing the majesty of the palace was an enormous challenge. I invited Malaysian cinematographer Eric Oh to help me, and together we decided that careful framing — rather than expensive cranes and jibs – were going to be used to maximize the effect of this small passion project.”
Here’s a show case of some of the images taken by Krishna.
