While many of you were settling into the New Year there was a select group, myself included, who attended Varina & Jay Patel’s Australian Landscape Photography Workshop.
The workshop was based in Port Stephens, Australia and consisted of a variety of scenic locations ranging from endless sand dunes, dazzling night skies and hidden treasures found along the shores of forgotten beaches. The days were packed full of learning about landscape photography, from sunset to when time was forgotten, all the participants ventured out with tripods equipped with camera gear, ready to learn and take their next scenic masterpiece.
Along for the ride was Brent Mail who filmed the whole workshop for later education use (stay tuned to get your copy in the coming months) and assisting him was the ever so funny John J Spencer aka smash it bro! Also a shout out goes to Fujifilm Australia for supplying some amazing gear for everyone to try, gear which included the new Fujifilm X-E2!
After the workshop I thought it would be a good idea to hear some feedback from a couple of the photographers who attended the course, both beginner and professional. The interview featured Andrew Newlun of Newtography, Mykal & Dianne Hall from Sydney Seascapes as well as the world renowned wilderness and landscape photographers Varina & Jay Patel.
If you are interested in being part of the next photography workshop be sure to check out and book your next life changing experience here.
It’s our hope to continually share our imaging knowledge and experience for free. To support us in this effort please consider making your next purchase through our partner Amazon.
